Our vision for 2023 is to clearly communicate our kingdom strategy to plant churches and create a culture of generosity that will fuel the mission of God through Ashburn.
CHURCH PLANTING IS IN OUR DNA!
Whether you know it or not, planting churches has always been a part of Ashburn’s DNA. Historically, Ashburn has helped start many churches across Chicago, and the truth is, it’s a biblical mandate! Jesus commanded it and the Apostle Paul modeled it. Churches start churches, and we believe that this kingdom mindset is essential to fulfilling our Gospel mission.
Chicago needs more churches to be started. The government cannot save Chicago. More funds cannot save Chicago. Education cannot save Chicago. ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE CHICAGO!
A CULTURE OF GENEROSITY
Ashburn is a generous church. Generosity is one of our core values after all. We believe that generosity is our privilege, and when we give our tithes and offerings, we honor God who gives all things richly to us, and it fuels the mission of God.
Our desire this year is to continue to cultivate our culture of generosity by bringing greater clarity to our kingdom mission by clearly communicating WHAT our mission is, and WHY each of us should engage missional giving. We invite you to join me as we engage in the work of the kingdom together.
