Dear Ashburn Family:
As you know, two weeks ago we temporarily modified our Phase 2 reopening guidelines with specific mitigation which began on Sunday, Nov 22. We hoped to see COVID numbers come back down under the 12% threshold. Although the numbers have come down, they are still above the 12% threshold.
From day one, my primary goal has been to protect our church family from needless risk and exposure. That is still my goal. With that in mind, we have decided to extend the temporary mitigations of Phase 2 of our reopening guidelines until Dec 13th. What does that mean? It means that this upcoming Sunday and Wednesday will operate just like last Sunday and Wednesday. We are simply extending the current mitigations one more week.
We remain committed to protect our church family as well as being the church that the Lord has called us to be and to create a safe environment where we can continue to gather. These are certainly extraordinary times, and it requires extraordinary faith. Let me encourage you to remain vigilant and focused in your faith. Don’t allow Satan to rob your peace and joy. We are to be thankful at all times and in all seasons! Our God is good and faithful, and worthy of our praise!
